Bought a New Vehicle?
By law in Alberta, you must register all newly purchased vehicles. Below are the steps you can take to register a new vehicle.
How to Register 101
Step 1
- Get coverage from an insurance agency. Without vehicle insurance, we will not be able to legally register it.
Step 2
- Provide a bill of sale or lease agreement from the seller.
- Note: Registration will be assigned to whoever’s name is on the bill of sale.
Step 3
- Visit our Standard Office and we will help direct you from there. If you need a license plate, we can also help.
